Who we are
Brasstown Concert Association has been bringing world-class music to the heart of Western North Carolina since 1974. Born from a shared love of music, community, and the arts, we are a volunteer-led nonprofit committed to making high-quality classical and chamber performances accessible to all.
Each season, we host a carefully curated series of concerts featuring renowned artists from around the globe—right here in the intimate setting of the John C. Campbell Folk School. Surrounded by mountain beauty and supported by a dedicated local audience, we celebrate the power of music to connect, inspire, and enrich our community.

guitarist Karl Lundeberg, Loretta Kelley on Norwegian Hardanger fiddle, and Laura Hummel on Swedish nyckelharpa.October 18 — Lillian Pearson & Will Peebles
“Keyboards & Bassoons,” solo pieces and duets for historical keyboards & bassoons.November 16 — Fredrick Moyer & friends
Moyer’s first half concert features solo classical piano pieces. For the second half, he will be joined by bassist Zack Page and drummer Justin Watt as the Fred Moyer Jazz Arts Trio.

Emory University Quartet in Residence brings their intense expressiveness & ability to connect with audiences in stunning form.April 4 — Young Artist Concert (clarinet & piano)
Featuring Roland Lawrence of Blairsville on the clarinet, and Hayesville's Samuel Brown on piano with a program that is sure to impress. These young men are still in high school and performing for a major audience!
